Terrific speed and the exhilaration of the out-of-doors in winter are fascinating elements of ice boating in its various forms, and particularly is this true of the sport when a strongly built motor ice boat is used. On very smooth, long stretches of ice, the speed is limited only by the power of the mechansim and the endurance of the driver. The possessor of such a mechanical craft will find much more satisfaction in it if he is both owner and builder.
