0326--Foldboat Holidays

The canoe, whether of birch bark or canvas, serves its purpose in still lakes and quiet rivers, but is entirely too dangerous for down-mountain cruising and off-shore paddling. Enter, the Foldboat. With numerous foldboat feats established on the Colorado, the River of No Return, the North Thompson River, Rapid River, Lehigh River, and the Long Sault Rapids of the St. Lawrence, it can safely be testified that the foldboat is a supreme master of torrential white-water streams. In 1937 the foldboat made its debut at the National Boat and also the National Sportsmen's Shows in New York, at the New England Sports Show in Boston, and others in the East. These displays before the sporting public have been continued ever since.
